Nehemiah 9:29-31

^29 (A)And you warned them in order to turn them back to your law. Yet ^(B)they acted presumptuously and did not obey your commandments, but sinned against your rules, ^(C)which if a person does them, he shall live by them, ^(D)and they turned a stubborn shoulder ^(E)and stiffened their neck and would not obey. ³⁰ For many years ^(F)you bore with them ^(G)and warned them ^(H)by your Spirit through your prophets. ^(I)Yet they would not give ear. ^(J)Therefore you gave them into the hand of the peoples of the lands. ³¹ Nevertheless, ^(K)in your great mercies ^(L)you did not make an end of them or forsake them, ^(M)for you are a gracious and merciful God.
